The Logjam

A WAA tradition since 1996, The Logjam has been keeping Alberta’s woodlot community connected for 30 years. The very first issue was published in April 1996, just a year and a half after the Woodlot Association of Alberta was established.

Originally created to share information among members before email and the internet became commonplace, The Logjam has continued to evolve alongside the association and the people it serves.

Today, The Logjam is published quarterly, featuring news, resources, stories, and information relevant to Alberta’s private woodlot community. WAA members get first access to each new issue—another benefit of being part of the association.
